Overview

Exosomes are cell-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs) with the same lipid bilayer as the cell membrane, they released from cells into the extracellular space and contains various growth factors, cytokines, mRNA and miRNA. They are excellent regulator for intercellular communication.

There are multiple clinical researches and applications of exosomes in the treatments of tumors, neurons and rare diseases, including disease diagnosis, drug delivery, cell-free therapy.*

Growth factors, Cytokines derived from Stem Cells and their mechanisms.

Growth Factor Mechanism
bFGF Cell regeneration, repair damaged cells
PDGF Angiogenesis, promoting cell division and proliferation
EGF Promote epithelial cell growth, angiogenesis
TGF-B Promote extracellular matrix secretion, fibroblast activation and collagen synthesis
Angiogenin Promote angiogenesis, activate hair follicles, and strengthen hair roots

Five main functions of exosomes for therapeutic purposes and health care:

  • Anti-Inflammatory
  • Immunomodulatory
  • Repair and regeneration
  • Anti-Aging
  • Cell activation
